Ideally located in the South Downs National Park, in the pretty village of Patching we are superbly situated for walkers, cyclists and horse riders to explore the picturesque South Downs. A short walk through the village will take you onto Patching Common where you can take in the panoramic views of the sea to the south and the Downs to the north. Two lovely pubs are within easy walking distance.

Selden Blacks is conveniently situated very close to the historic town of Arundel – home to the world famous Arundel Castle and Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre. Chichester is nearby with its famous Goodwood Racecourse, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. The seaside resort of Brighton is also within easy reach. There are many other attractions within the surrounding area and you can visit Petworth House with its world famous deer park, Midhurst the centre of Polo in the south, Fontwell Racecourse, Singleton Open Air Museum and Amberley Museum and Heritage Centre.

We provide off road parking and a nearby bus service takes you into Worthing and Arundel There is also two near by railway stations in the nearby towns of  Goring-By-Sea (10 mins) and Arundel (15 mins).
